The University's Department of Human Resources is seeking a Recruiter for the Health System. Human Resources Specialists demonstrate defined expertise in one area of the HR discipline. They should meet the qualifications to sit for certification in their area of expertise (where possible), or have demonstrated mastery of subject matter. HR Specialists exercise significant independence and autonomy, collaborating with senior HR leadership on areas of greater complexity. A background in recruitment in health care is highly preferred.
A demonstrated expertise in recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing and recommending external and internal candidates for professional and management-level positions is preferred. Responsibilities include:
Sourcing candidates using a variety of tools;
Keep accurate and concise records concerning all phases of the recruitment process;
Recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
Education: High school diploma with at least four years of experience in an exempt-level (professional) HR position, Bachelor's degree with two years of exempt-level experience, or a Master's degree with one year of exempt-level experience.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
